Spruce Grove Stables
Spruce Grove Stables, founded in 2010, is a leading horse boarding stable specializing in hunter/jumper riding. We began with a small barn for our first horse. In 2018, we expanded with a 40x100 barn featuring stalls and indoor wash racks. By 2019, we built an 80x200 indoor arena, connecting it to the existing barns. Our goal is to enhance access to equestrian sports at all levels, ensuring fairness, safety, and enjoyment for everyone.

As co-founders of Spruce Grove Stables, Barbara and Jaydan have been instrumental in shaping our business. Their dedication and love for horses are evident in every aspect of our operations, from the care of the horses to the management of our facilities.
Jaydan Stettner
Jaydan, our lead equestrian trainer and accomplished showjumping competitor, has harbored a passion for horses since the age of eight. Her equestrian odyssey commenced with the purchase of her first horse at an auction, a milestone that propelled her into formal training. By eleven, Jaydan was already making her mark in local competitions across Saskatchewan, and her zeal for competition has intensified with time. She has showcased her skills in esteemed venues such as Spruce Meadows in Alberta, Thunderbird Show Park in British Columbia, and Thermal in California. With over a decade of coaching experience and a registration as a professional coach, Jaydan contributes a rich reservoir of knowledge and enthusiasm to her role at Spruce Grove Stables, establishing her as an essential asset to our team.
Jaydan's impressive accomplishments include:
- 2022: 2nd place in the 1.40 open championship in Calgary, AB
- 2023: 1st place in the U25 1.35 $5000 event in Langley, BC
- 2024: 4th place in the 1.45 Open Classic in Thermal, CA
- 2024: 12th place in the 1.45 FEI 2* event in Thermal, CA
